Myrtle Beach

Pelicans! Wow... what beautiful sea birds. And we have seen them everywhere... they are having convention on every dock we've seen. It is so much fun to watch them swooping down to search for lunch.

This morning Tom researched a plumbing problem and bought a new hose while Boyd took a conference call for work. That put us a little late getting off, just as the rain started. The rain discouraged a planned stop at Calabash for seafood for lunch. But our chicken salad sandwiches were fine. The marina in Myrtle Beach is beautiful, and Doug Boggie from Kiwanis drove over to give us a ride back to the Kingston Resort for the Kiwanis Convention. We have had a fun evening renewing acquaintances with old friends... Our hotel room overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, and we had dinner watching the sun go down over the waves and Palmetta trees.
