On Saturday, it was fun to sleep in and have waffles for breakfast overlooking the beautiful boats across the water. We spent today in the marina mostly, washing the boat and our clothes and then took a bike ride around the town.
We found the IGA grocery store and the fun shopping and dining village of Patti’s 1880’s Settlement. There were several restaurants mostly decorated for Christmas, gift shops in old log cabins with stained glass windows and a wedding chapel. There were interesting things to buy like the huge windchimes for $1800 and also a lawn sized nativity scene. All the staff were dressed in clothing denoting the 1880's and it was all quite charming.
